Can you collect your items from royal mail before they are delivered? Alternatively what time to they deliver?

I bought a zippo lighter and grinder on amazon and was wondering if i can pick them up in the morning before they are delivered and my parents see them. Or alternatively what time in the day the usually deliver small parcels (I live down the road from the massive distributional warehouse in Swindon)
