Building RC transmitter from scratch?

Setting up an RC airplane is really easy. Just get a radio - transmitter and receiver set- and the other parts you need- servos and speed controller (for electric). Essentially, you start with the receiver- you plug your servos into the receiver directly. If it's a gas plane, you will need a receiver battery. For an electric plane, the speed controller will provide power to the receiver and servos. If it's electric, plugging in the speed controller is just like plugging in a servo. You will connect the battery to the speed controller and the motor to the speed controller as well. That is it for the electronics.
