Im expected to deliver mid July when can I start taking my baby out for walks after he's born?

Its going to be hot and I know its recommended not to use sunscreen on infants younger than 6 months, so my questions is how soon can I take him for walks and bring him out and expose him to the sun.I dont want him getting too hot outside., and pretty sure a onesie is all he'll need..But not sure what to do with many summer activities going on with family and considering I have an 8 year old I have to get out of the house. Im afraid Im being too overprotective, and I also dont want him being trapped in the house most of the summer. My son was a winter baby so I didnt go through this dilemma.Please help -Thank you
