Joining army as a Veteran/Prior Service?

Most likely you'd lose those benefits but obviously you'd be making more on active duty. Not sure what would happen after you were to retire again; I doubt you'd receive the same benefits but if you stay in long enough you might end up with more anyhow. I heard of an Army Sarge who was injured about 20 years ago and retired on VA disability then and recently, after much convincing of the MEPS doctors, went back to active duty. I salute you sir for wanting to do the same.
